I am Evonne Jenkins, a licensed therapist with Mended Counseling. I am a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a double major in social work and sociology. I pursued a Master of Social Work degree from the Joint Master of Social Work program with NC & AT and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am also a proud Air Force veteran.

Life gets hard and confusing sometimes. Like many of my clients, I’ve experienced trauma, divorce, stress and other struggles in my life. I thought I would never overcome some of my obstacles at one time or another. These situations led me to a career as a therapist and my personal work with my own Internal Family Systems therapist. Yep, I am a therapist who has a therapist because I believe in therapy and doing my own work.

Life can be better!!! You can begin your healing journey now. You can learn to walk through life with more self-energy, your core Self, or however you reference you in all of your authenticity. You can learn how to develop a better relationship with your thoughts and emotions. You can develop greater insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
